Yesterday I just found out I am now Diabetic, Lucky ME!!!!!..(sarcasim)
I am sorta Bummed out...since my life will have to depend on me injecting Insulin for the rest of my life now...That sucks because I have to watch what I eat..I cant drink my Dr. Pepper anymore!!!!!!...NNoooOO..*sad*....I get to inject myself 4 times a day!...and check my Glocuse 5 times a day!!!!....Good Lord Man!!!!!....
Anyother diabetic people out there???.....Any advice I should know??

You need lots of adjusting, and life does goes on.
For starters, check your glucose before each meal to have a baseline. Switch to diet Dr. pepper and instead of refined sugar substitute for splenda, equal or nutrasweet. Rotate your injection sites (I'm assuming you are administering them in your belly?)
and no you don't need a nutritionist per say..............but I do suggest you pick up a few books about diabetes and join a support group (to learn from others like you).
