Yeah, I've been wanting a wheel since before GT4 but never had the money. Think I might get one now if it's wireless and 900 degree steering. Maybe the driveforce EX or Driveforce Pro. How important are pedal controls or can you get by without them? The wireless one has them integrated with no pedals.

Great, now I find out that the XBox 360 may be dropping to $299 for the pro system, or buy the Arcade for $199 and add an external HD. Gonna make spending $400 on a PS3 a lot toughr.

The Logitech G25 does have a working clutch.

Good move not buying GT5P, it's a complete waste of money. I rented it, it's not worth the $40 or w/e they're charging for a demo. Honestly, I won't even be buying GT5 when it comes out, because the physics are just garbage. I've always played GT games, but when it comes down to 'racing simulation', Forza wins hands down. GT5 is just pretty, that's all.
I agree. Forza 2 is the best racing simulation so far. I don't like GT5P.

Does the game recognize it as a working clutch, or is it still possible to just shift whenever you feel like it. Everyone I used, you never actually had to take your foot off the gas or even use the clutch...you could just shift whenever.

Even if it was the case of being able to shift when you felt like it, why would you do it, and say that's a negative? You control how you play the game. Shift it like you suppose to.

Besides, I think it works anyway. I haven't picked mine up yet, to try it, but one day I will.
