I am sick of this strike I don't watch much TV but there are a few select shows I like to watch:
Namely Prison Break and The Office, and I want them back dammit!

i just want some new family guy and south park....
i could be having the worst day of my life and turn one of those on and it automatically puts smile on my face...

They are trying to not pay residuals for "new technologies" such as internet downloads and streaming video. If Spiderman 3 or AVP-R (movies I worked in) are downloaded, streamed or otherwise delivered via "new technologies", they do not want to pay us...even though it is the same as a DVD rental. pay per view or broadcast TV play which they are obligated to pay us for. The studios just want to make even more money off the backs of those of us who do the actual work.
If the writers cave in, our SAG contract is due up in May and they have a point of leverage to deny or minimize our payments also.
I back the writers. Strike until they stop trying to cheat us out of residuals. But I hope they can settle before the Oscars.
