lemme get this straight...the signal from the spare remote goes through the phone and unlocks the door? Can it be any cel phone? What about if they call from a land line?

 

i think whats supposed to happen is it somehow get mixed with the cell phone signal and is transmitted through that to the destination.

 

I doubt it... but I've been wrong before.

Oh goodness Now let's think about this....if you are too far awayfrom you're car and attempt to use the remote will it work? 50 feet, sure, 75 feet maybe, 150 feet doubtful.......how about 100 yards away? Nope nada......still though makes you want to try it then not admit to anyone that you actuallydid

but if its an infared it wont transmit.
