This is why I will be a customer of autozone for life. They refund my money for an electrical part, The could have easly said we can't refund this for you. but they did no questions asked. And they give it to me in cash. Sure I pent a good part of it back in the store,

A bunch of ricers work at my local Autozone. I only go when the kid I know with an SRT4 works, because he's not a total tool. Pep Boys has nothing but old Indians working in it who hate life, and R&S has mis-informed mechanics working in it. I stick to NAPA, because my high school auto teacher works there and gives me stuff for almost half price.

all the shops here have ricer's and people that have no idea about a car..i dont even know how they got the job..i was in pep boys one time and was looking for a thrmostat gasket for my 91 teg ,the guy handed me just a rubber ring i said i dont think this is right .he sasy thats what the comp says so i take thinking maybe its a newer gasket were i dont need to use the bumps that the stock has..get home what a waste ..so i go back and bring him the old one and the new one and you can see the diff one is just a ring the other has grooves and is way diff so i start to argue with him as he will not give me a refund and just keeps telling me im wrong thats what the computer says ,so a manager over hears me and comes and ask me what the deal was ,after all the bs the manager yells at the guy and tells him cant ya see the diff also the part should not be in the computer as its not right and tells me i got to getit from the dealer... its not the first time i got some bs from kragens or pep boys type stores..they really need to have people who know about ____..

my local autozone seems to be staffed by normals. know more than average but not nearly enough experience to provide any advice. my kragen on the other hand has one very eccentric employee that seems to give a personal anecdote to every single customer that comes through the door. last time i went in to ask for some wax and he started to tell me about how his son changed his oil for him. weird.
