I was referring to the gun, but you guys have sharper eyes than I. The facial expression changes are definitely there. Amazing what can be done with Photoshop.
Anyway, see the flick. Politically correct poster or not, the movie's a hoot.

hmmm....kinda old thread but ill bring it back
a couple movies, IMO, that are under rated among the people i know are
Oldboy- the best in the 'vengance trilogy' by Park Chan Wook. and watch it w/ the origional korean audio w/ english subs. english audio absolutely KILLS the movie
JCVD- yes it stands for Jean Claude Van Damme(sp?) its his 1st movie in years, i think, & IMO, his BEST movie ever!! its not his typical kick & punch movie, he can actually act! like Oldboy, dont watch it in english!!! watch it in french w/ english subs!! a couple times, i almost forgot i was watching a movie because, its sort of about him & his career as an actor as well. great movie!

Bumpity bump!
Clockwork Orange is pretty trippy.
Pan's Labyrinth is friggin' awesome, it's sort of an adult-ish fairy tale. It's very dark, the Pan-Man freaked the Hell out of me! Also, all in Spanish (so I hope you can read the subtitles). haha.

If you like spaghetti westerns, this is the ultimate:
Sergio Leone equipped with a big budget and Henry Fonda as a bad guy.
Oh, and Claudia Cardinale...
It was chopped unmercifully for its US release and flopped, but the full length version is often cited as the best of the spaghetti westerns.

Worth a watch!
City of God... just watch it. Trust me.
The rest are kung-fu, samurai, and asian flicks that I think are notable...
Heroes of the East: A classic Shaw Bros. film starring Gordon Liu. Perfect film to understand where Quentin got a lot of his Kill Bill flavor from.
Iron Monkey: Donnie Yen flick. A MUST WATCH. This film, imo, marks the turning point for kung-fu flicks. One of the first to really make use of "wire-fu". Paved the way for Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Has a great storyline.
Storm Riders, and A Man Called Hero: Yet another huge turning point in hong kong and kung-fu films. Both films heavily make use of CGI to help tell the story, and add visual style to fight scenes. Notable scenes: Storm Riders-The final battle vs. Lord Conquer(played by legendary actor Sonny Chiba! Most people would know him as Street Fighter, or Hattori Hanzo from the Kill Bill film.) A Man Called Hero-The battle on the Statue of Liberty!
Samurai Fiction, and Red Shadow. Both films are: directed by Hiroyuki Nakano; quasi-period samurai films; hilarious, and worth a watch. (Netflix them, the style and comedy aren't for everyone, but I love em..)
GUNS AND TALKS: This is a GREAT Korean action film. Assassins. Guns. Comedy. It's got em all.
And I leave the most obscure, but very entertaining for last...
Sukiyaki Western Django: All I can say is . The Old West + Samurai + Gunmen + Swords + japanese actors/actresses attempting to speak english for the film + Quentin Tarantino = HILARIOUS. (And the shootout and swordplay scenes are surprisingly brilliant.) Fun fact: It was directed by Takashi Miike, the same guy who directed Ichi the Killer and Audition.
I hope you enjoy these movies for what they are, in all their quirky, strange, and humorous glory. Let me know what you think!
Thank God for Netflix and torrents...

dead alive!!! i thought i was alone
Bloody Sunday - Documentary about the events that divide the British and Irish in 1974.....A++++
Muholland Drive - Tells the truth as to what hollywood is all about...total mind fu*k!
Dead Alive - Is it a horror movie or is it a comedy? I say a perfect mix of both. Dark humor
The Weather Underground - Documentary on the radical political activist group the Weathermen, who organized in the 1960s to protest the Vietnam War.
