I don't even really care about the racing topic now to be honest (even though it really has hardly been discussed at all).
I just don't like the flaming and what not when someone reposts something. Just the other day in the rims/tires section, I started a thread with a pic of a rim designed like a roulette wheel. I thought it was worth a giggle and decided to post it. I didn't know it was an old topic, but almost every reply from what I remember was nothing but "oh this is 2 years old" etc etc. Guys, who cares? Not everyone saw it. And for the 769452nd time, you don't have to reply.

That was you? I'm pretty sure I locked that...
Reposts happen all of the time, yes. Flaming does usually ensue. There are just some things that are so obviously a repost, that the thread really has no need to continue. If you think it is THAT awesome, it has been posted before and discussed to death. No, not everyone had a chance to keep up with it... but try a little search, and if you find something and it is actually relevant to your topic, reply to that. If you bump a two yr old thread, so what... you might get a couple surprised replies... but as long as you're still on topic with the original post, it's better to do that than start a new thread.

I know, I know. Use the search. I hear it all the time being said to me and others. But in all honesty I don't think it's quite as easy to use as people think and it can be time consuming IMO. It just seems easier to repost, let the new-to-the-subject people talk about it for a page or so, and then let it fall down the list of threads when it's all over.
So just throwing this out there.. street racing has been going on way before the fast and the furious... secondly isnt it OUR age frame that is doind it all 16-20.. It is really hard for me to believe that you yourself is a complete law bidng citizen who has never broken any speed limits..

I never said I haven't raced before. But after I was nearly caught I learned my lesson and realize how stupid I was and want to get out of the stereotype I'm in by being a "tuner" because of stupid street racers. I'm like the ex-crackhead who runs the anti-drug program at the school house haha. As far as abiding laws now, I do the normal 5 over-the-limit like the greater majority of people do. I go by cops all the time doing 59-60 in a 55 and never have problems. Heck, I was doing 80 on I-40 which is 10 over the 70 mph limit and a HP passed me without any sort of confrontation.
if anyone thinks that's only 16-23 yrs old in imports racing around, that's just ignorant. How about this 40 some yrs old guy at work that races everything that moves on his 05' GTO. Not to mention harassing me to race him with my tc

To the OP, man just give it up:
1. like ack said, it's not a rule
2. now I see ur true colors, u sound like ur just butt hurt about people making mean replies towards u
3. no I'm not trying to be mean, just stating the obvious

^^ And he just keeps failing and failing and failing
P.S. - when you are kinda hinting towards trying to make street racing talk banned on this site, its not such a great idea to fight with one of our mods...just a piece of advice
