FYI - the whole TJ's "house brand" (hefe, winter bock, amber, etc) is actually made by Gorden Birsch.

Agreed, the entire line ranges from good to very, very good. Now if only they would come out with a stout.

If anybody wants a real good full flavored beer

What struck me as odd was that firesquare is OK with butt light in a can, but the standard butt MUST be from the tap.

A GREAT domestic (if you are a hop-head) comes via Russian River and is called Pliny the Elder. It is a IIPA. I call it hop juice. Hops dominate the flavor/aroma profile, but is quite balanced considering.

And if you can find it, try Pliny the Younger. It is a triple IPA and is close to the Elder, just with more hops and more alcohol. Last time I tried it it clocked in at 13%, but there is so much going on with the hops, it is very drinkable.

For Hop-Heads ONLY!!!!!

My favorite IPA of all time!!!!

Another option is to head down to your local liquor store and buddy up with the owner/manager or ??? After you get on there good side, try asking if you can see the list the beer distributor gives the store. You may have to agree to buy a full case, but 99 times out of 100, any given store does not carry all the varities the distributor offers..mainly due to space issues.
