I'm packing and cleaning out my apartment and found an old sub I had (RF Punch HE) that was damaged in my old car. The surround got a hole poked in it and I just replaced it with a polk. I discovered I have Best Buy's 4 year performance service plan on it and it's good till 2007 but I'm not sure if it covers against damage or just product defect. Any ideas?

 

If the damage was caused by usgaed then it would be covered. Subs blow all the time. If it looks like something was jabbed into it then they won't cover it. Some people will have a box in their trunk, no grills and have something puncture the sub. That isn't covered.
