That has got to be one of the ugliest things I've ever seen. The hood... the grill... the kit... the eyelids... omg the car.

I don't call that rice..... I call it show wannabe..... way too cluttered...

 

at first, I thought he erased his front bumper...

 

if he dropped the "hood vents" from the hood it would look descent.

 

I agree, not very nice, but then i noticed the models and they took my mind of the car.

i dont think it looks that bad except the hood. diffrent strokes, different folks. i should show you some pics of my first modifications.... the were horrible.

 

Recommendations to that guy: Remove the second set of fogs, wings, gas door sticker, goofy hood vents, and painted the hood... I think it would look very slick.

 

how could those guys like that hood?... the vents look all whacked out...

 

you guys are too harsh. I think a little difference from teh rest of the pack doesnt make it rice.....

without the wing and some slightly different rims and thats not a bad looking car at all.

get rid of that hood but keep the paint skeem of the hood the same and its a pretty clean lookin car...

Some of those cars on that website isn't rice at all, so how are people learning?

Just my opinion but, i see more tcs/xbs/xas that fall under the rice catigory then i do on this site so far. Its funny also how everyone puts down Honda for being known for ricers, but half the mods you guys put down Honda owners for doing you turn right around and do yourself.

IMO, the car in question is not Rice at all. It's not very tasteful, however, it's not Rice. Some people mistake what they don't like as being RICE, instead of what Rice really is. There is a difference between Rice, and you just merely not liking a car.

IMO

Rice = having hood pins on a stock hood
Rice = having Vtec on the side of a Civic Dx
Rice = having GTR badges on a mid 90's Celica or any car for that mater other than the designated one.

Rice = having Type R on your Mustang
Rice = having 10 feet tall Alumminum wings on ANY car.

etc...I could go on and on.
