Default Bll me later..anyone use it?

Have any of you used the bill me later thing that some websites support? I know newegg. some ebay sellers, vividracing, etc. use it and was wondering if anyone has experience with it?

I'm trying it out with one of my text books for school just to give it a shot.

yea. i actually am using it from vivid right now. It works real well. As long as you don't pass your deadline you will be fine. it's really user friendly too.

It will require a credit check though... Keep that in mind. It's just like a credit account/loan.

Yeah I know..I've been reading up on it. Basically an online credit card of sorts

Using it for one of my text books and a TV (both of which I can afford easily by the end of the month or beginning of next month)

So..if I end up screwing myself over I know not to use it again lol otherwise seems good so far

only thing that sucks is that every time your credit is run your credit score goes down a little.

Sort of... credit checks like that don't really affect your score too much. If you're having someone run your credit to open a new account, it'll have very minimal effect. But if you try applying to 5 or 6 credit cards in a short period of time, that will look very bad.

Overall though, even with a bunch of credit checks on your file, the weight of that part of your score is very small.

I've been trying to rebuild my credit for a few years now and have done quite a bit of research on a lot of this.
