i know most of you like me have a webcam, that could be fun

plus its easier, just get everyones s/n and invite a chat i thinks its better than aim and the chat doesnt lag

Anyone use IRC? Many moons ago, I idled in a couple rooms on EFnet, but I've never started a room or anything like that. I'd be willing to download mIRC again if someone started a room.

 

People, people, the AIM chat room does not exist unless there is someone there. The first person to got to "scionlife" chat creates the room anew, everyone else typing in "scionlife" joins that room.

IRC: I used IRC for a while, and enjoyed it, though it is a bit intimidating for n00bs. (My preferred client is xChat.) These days with the various bots running, IRC can be a bit hazardous, especially for the MS based folks.

Some of us dislike Yahoo!, some dislike MSN, many have no idea what ICQ is. AIM is a quick, easy, fairly reliable, and simple chat set-up, that is usable cross-platform with few glitches other than those people create on their own systems.

I'm idle in there right now. Two other people are in there right now and yay we're idling!

 

I tried to go back to the AIM chat the day after we first all were there but couldn't. I can't access or create an AIM chat room unless I'm invited somehow and the AIM download stalls out on me while installing.
