Can anybody get car history checks, i know on honda tech, and on a ford focus website if you give some guy your vin number he can get you a history report for your car, anybody on here do that??

 

...or you can just spend the money and get your own carfax instead of asking someone else to spend their money to get it for you. Seriously, they aren't that expensive. And how dare you compare this site to HondaTech?!?!

 

i know, but i was asking if anybody already had an account, like i said on hondatech, and some focus site they have that, the guys work at the dealer and they can give you the complete history, i was just wondering, and actually they are a bit of money and i dont use it that much, was wondering if someone that uses it everyday was on here.

 

There's nothing wrong with asking for a history check, I've seen lots of people doing it on here, and it dosn't cost them money if they already have an acount. Comparing SL to honda-tech and a focus forum is a nono though.
