As for my program, yes we help more and more people each year, AND statistically more and more graduate each year. We are growing and pulling in more impoverished people from around the entire area, some are traveling nearly 60 miles just to come here. So of course we do serve more and more people since we are willing to open up more computers for them. If one program aids more people by expanding each year, with a list four pages long of clients that have passed out intake assessment (much have some computer knowledge, and the willing to learn and grow). If you forgot, we were only able to work with 40 or so people this past fiscal year, DO YOU REALLY THINK THERE ARE ONLY 40 PEOPLE WHO ARE IN POVERTY EACH YEAR?

It doesn't surprise me that you're a social worker. Usually people who can't make it thru difficult courses in college settle for "Social Sciences". Majority of "Social Sciences" majors have an overall GPA in the 2s.

Overall gpa in the 2's? If that is true how was I able to get into a private university? Or even better yet, why I have I been on the deans list since frosh year? A 3.7 is hardly anywhere near 2's. I also wouldnt be able to graduate from my program or be recruited by graduate programs across the NW. Every graduate school interview I have lined up is all expenses paid, which includes schools in Cali as well as OR and WA.

I dont like food stamps, or anything near that like anyone else in the nation. There are better ways to do it and danny I completely agree with you man, but it would be more frustration than hate (its the whole social thing in me i guess).

 

Between my wife and I, we pay over $1,200 just in salary taxes MONTHLY.
