Remember when Chrysler was offering 2.99 gas for the next 3 years? Well, whoever took this gamble is screwed now that gas has dipped well below 2 bucks.

I almost spit coffee all over my monitor when I saw the thread title! I forgot about that!!

 

remember that airlines still have fuel surcharges too. price gouging maybe? and THEY complain that flyership(?) is down for the holiday. wonder why. there's been talk about Chrysler dealerships closing down here.

 

My friends mom was about to buy a Dodge Journey pretty much FOR this. I convinced her not to, and she looked at the Toyota Highlander. It's a good thing too, because the Journey's resale value is just pathetic AND they had a recall for having possible engine fires.

 

i called this when it first came out.

yeah, that's pretty sad now that gas where i'm at is like 1.44 haha

Yeah, NS! I think people that bought vehicles for this promo should get refunded what ever the price difference is from 2.99 minus whatever price they do pay. That would just about make their 1.65 gas free after the promo.
