Cloverfield?
Yeah they've done a really good job keeping it secret. Looks like some kind of hardcore alien/mutant/sasquatch (lol) destroying New York and viewed through home video cameras. I'll probably go see it, hope it's good.
CLOVERFIELD is one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Went to go see it the day it came out and the perspective in which the movie is portrayed is astonishing. I can't wait for Cloverfield 2 to come out!!!!
Go See It!!

Don't worry though, the loose ends are supposed to be cleared up the next time around.

I thought it was pretty bad. Hated the whole first person point of view deal and the plot is just way over done. Im glad my friend didnt go because she has epilepsy and probably would have gone into a seizure sitting through that crazy shaky camera crap. They should at least put a warning before you buy tickets for those who have motion sickness problems. A guy threw up a few rows behind me and a person sitting next to me had to leave a few times because she was feeling sick. Who in the hell would run around with a camera rolling in the middle of all that craziness anyways?

the theater i went to didnt have it up. Im sure that theater probably had complaints and the management told them to put it up. When I worked at a theater we would put up different signs about various movies when we got complaints.
Movie was alright.....I wasnt at the edge of my seat as I anticipated. Overall..I would have rather sat at home and made like Michael Jackson and "Beat It"
And if anyone wants to see it right now in bootleg form follow the link http://movie6.net/?p=1787

I thought it was awesome.
And yea, the camera work was amateurish and shaky, but that was the whole point, and I feel that it worked brilliantly.
Also, from a sound design vantage, it was one of the most complex films I've seen in a long while.
