yea ... camera work was as designed.

I'm still on the fence on this movie, saw it saturday.
I enjoyed it, it wasn't at all what I was hoping for, but it wasn't a bad movie.

the camera guy's parts really kinda annoyed me and amused me at the same time. His love interested really bothered me, but the brother's and the hot chick worked well together.
I think how each character exited the story was kinda short, but then again, thats how the movie ended, so I guess, in a sense, that was the trend throughout the movie.

did any of you guys stay till the end after the credits rolled? there was a CB radio transmission. I didn't stay but I read about it. Some people think it said "its still alive" and some people are saying that it said "Help me".

The cast was on O&A and said there was an additional 40 minutes to the move that the studios cut out, aka the ending. Its either going to be a dvd special or CF2

so im guessing you guys did not see the VERY VERY end. haha..when it just ended randomly..i knew something was up so i stayed after the credits and everything and all you hear is the guy breathing for like 1-2 seconds and it officially ends..so it means there will be a number 2 which i expected lol. a lot of people were confused by the ending and ended up hating it but didnt even see EVERYTHING! btw, if u forgot the dark girl who escaped in the helicopter was kind of a sign for a number 2..i was reading and it said that the 2nd one will explain the monsters background. 1 more thing..my friend told me when beth and her boyfriend, [i forgot everyones names lol] were at the carnival on the ferris wheel..in the very back.. something fell into the ocean..i didnt see it because i was looking at the girl but my friends friend noticed something falling in the ocean..ima try to see it again from the internet

Hey, someone had posted some website where you could like find almost anything to download. I go some music video's from Japan that are hard to find. Does anyone know a website like this?

Oh, and Cloverfield is based on some creature which the company the guy was going to work for in Japan created with some experiments they were doing in the deep trench somewhere in the middle of the ocean. The tanker that hit the statue of liberty was carrying it when they were doing something and it all went to hell. Just here'say.

*spoilers*

The movie was ok. the end suck. I think the military would took a different type of action when they first attack it. Look what the Military did when they attack Scorponok from the Transformers movie. I don't know what the guy was thinking when he was trying to save the girl. I bet at the end of the movie when they drop the big one, the guy said in his head(saving her wasn't worth it)
It will be hard to make a part 2. if they did it might take place at the same time period as the first movie with a different cast telling the story from a different point of view. If the second movie take place in a different city with another alien I think it will be hard to follow the first movie. I think they should explain more the movie so the viewers can understand what is going on a little bit more. Over all the movie could of been better. I have to get that camera. the life of that battery was awesome. My camera battery can't even last for 30 mins. LOL

The whole point of the movie was to make people think about the movie. That's why they didn't explain anything about it. It was supposed to be a first person thing, pretty much like 'this is what it would look like, if a giant monster woke up from the bottom of the ocean'.

I know if a giant monster started attacking the city i was in, id be able to run around with a camera the whole time. Even while running or being attacked by things, even when Im climbing on a dangerous roof. F that. Once something would have started attacking the city and you saw that it was some giant monster that camera would have been abandoned and you would be running for your life. It would be too chaotic to be filming the whole thing.
