here's what happened yesterday on my trip home

(10:41:35) me: well about an hour away from home yesterday on 66 we witnessed a pretty bad wreck.. we actually stopped and were one of the first people there to help. a church van traveling in a convoy of two vans blew out a tire and rolled and flipped off the road. scary!
(10:42:42) Mom: wow, scary is right
(10:42:44) me: we were not involved and just saw the smoke as we drove up and stopped to help the people. 66 got shut down and there were tons of rescue people there. they landed three helicopters on the road out in front of where we were at. nobody was killed in the crash but some were pretty hurt
(10:43:23) me: we were one of the only non police vehicles near the wreck... in the middle of at least 6 ambulances and lots of police / fire vehicles
(10:44:25) Mom: well thank god you weren't involved
(10:44:29) me: traffic was backed up for miles behind us. it was like a parking lot for at least 2 hrs
