Default Determining a Cars Value???

I know KBB and other websites seem to be the accepted way to determine a stock cars value. But how do you factor in a body kit? Specifically a molded widebody kit with some stress cracks and now with stock size tires( thanks to the a-hole that left my car on blocks and took my custom wide rims)? Bad karma has a tight grip on my car and im thining about trading it into a dealer and starting over with a tC. Not taking into account any factory upgrades and only going off the fact that its a 38xxx mile widebody xA needing about $1,000 of work to make the kit new what could I expect a dealer to give me?

Unless they specialize in modded cars expect the mods to hurt the car's value.

What the dealer is looking for is to be able to resell the ride. If it's not something that fits their business model they are going to back off their estimate of your car's value to allow for a bigger margin-of-error.

Have you thought about selling it yourself? That would get you max value.

I didnt want the hassle. Plus I was hoping all of my local Scion dealers only has stock show cars and with around 2,000 in work the car would be a rare and eye catching display tool.

Sorry, I overlooked that it was a Scion.

Worth a shot to talk to your local dealer. I know we sell the xA better when we have one on the lot that's lowered and has rims.

The stress cracks are a concern though.
