odd, that seems to be happening on this thread....I posted how it might be a violation of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (Sub-Chapter FOOD, Section 342 Adulerated Food) and some else replied that you ought to report it to the FDA and both posts disappeared.

It's a Kellogs Conspiracy I tell Ya!. j/k

btw, what actually was the small blue object? paper, plastic, etc.

i say oh well.. you know how many waffles they make.. you'll get a bad one eventually. if you feel like this then you should stop eating food from the grocery store all together and grow you own. my point is the big companies control everything unless you grow it yourself. the only way you get thier attention is if they lose a large amount of money

mushrooms are not supposed to be washed. brushed, maybe with a mushroom brush if they have a little dirt on them but they are pretty much grown in controled environments nowadays...heck emeril will tell you not to wash them, they're freakin' sponges if you get them wet before cooking...some cook you are.

Seriously, that is your argument? he should be a better son and cook for his younger sisters?! what does that have to do with plastic wrap in the waffles?....just because he's not willing to slave over a waffle maker and cuts a corner here and there so they get to school on time, you say he should put up with this stuff?...two wrongs don't make a right there frog.

Ok... not a huge deal I guess. Crap seems to get into products all the time right? This isn't the part I have a problem with... here was there response when she contacted them via the website:
I was about to go off, but then I read this comment again. So,I don't have anything to say then.

Yeah everyone, just eat around the the thing that fell into the waffle. Are you guys kidding me? The fact of the matter is that a person could have choked on the object. You're telling me if you found glass or a razor blade in your food, you wouldn't complain about it?

Stuff like that should NOT be in the food we buy. That's why things like quality control are created. I understand that people make mistakes but what if that kid choked on the object and died? Unlikely, but that little mistake could cost Kelloggs a huge amount of money.

Now as to the way he handled the situation, I agree that he shouldn't have used foul language in his reply. However, I feel he should have been given a better response than the canned one he received. I know Kelloggs probably gets thousands of emails stating how poor the food quality was. However, "object in my food" should have immediately been brought to the attention of the guy in charge of QA.

its funny, one time I got a 12 pack of Coke and one of the cans was sealed but had nothing in it...I called and got the same type of canned response..I wasnt mad or anything, though it was kinda funny actually. In any event, I got a coupon for a free 12 pack and when I called back to say thanks on thier 'listener line' I hit the wrong button and got a real person. He went on to tell me that the company policy is to get the name and address out of a person and keep feeding them free product until they stop complaining as a first line of defense. I laughed and he said 99% of the time it works... kinda sad....

Mine was a safe, empty can of Coke...no big deal.. In this case however, it begs the question.... "What else fell into the Eggo batter?"

I'm better of swearing of Eggo's and Kelloggs where I can now... If a company wants my money, they better care a little bit more than this...

I agree that was the best part lol I'm still laughing about it! I called my my girlfriend told her to turn on the computer and read your letter. SHe loved it.

I hate it when companies send you stupid letters like that. I am dealing with similar responses from applebees. anyway good luck with everything.

you should stick their coupon in a waffel then crap on it then send it back to them lol hahaha.

hope you get something else besides a crappy coupon.
