Okay I have to freaking Vent. I ordered a laptop about 3 weeks ago and it was supposed to come in today. I was so excited to play around with this thing, you have absolutely no idea. So I'm sitting around my house waiting for the fedex guy to come by when I decide to check where my package is. I hop on fedex.com, put in the ref number and see this:

I'm thinkin wtf? I go outside and check my door and find a freakin door tag saying a delivery attempt was made! Now I'm pist off. I hit the door bell, it works fine. WTF! did this guy not even try to deliver the package?This f#%@er didn't even ring the door bell. How the hell do I miss a package when I'm home?!?!? Honestly. The freakin car was in the driveway so its not like the house was empty. So I call fedex up tell them to tell the guy to come around again, which UPS has no problem doing (btw I found the door tag at 9AM, so that means he tried to deliver 16 min before that) they tell me that they physically can't get in contact with the driver, its impossible. I have to wait until tomorrow. WTF kinda poop is that. Honestly. I drove around my neighborhood a bit to try and find him but no luck. So here I am with absolutely nothing to do, Pist off because my package was missed with me in the freakin house!! Ugh. f@&# you fedex.

 

Fedex blows. They wouldn't leave a package because it required an adult signature, and I couldn't pick it up from the place, because the driver didn't get back til 7PM and the place closed at 5PM.

Fedex drivers get paid differently than UPS drivers. UPS drivers get paid based off deliveries, so they will try multiple times to ring or knock. Fedex drivers will just hit the door and run.

 

Oh, I bet I do have an idea! I'm like a little kid at Christmas when it comes to getting stuff by Fed-Ex or UPS. It's kinda pathetic really.

Anyhow, that really sucks dude. Were you taking a shower or sitting around with earphones in?

 

no dude. I was on scionlife listening to nothing. It was dead silent in my house. I would have heard the freakin door bell. Fedex freakin **** blocked me.

edit: Lol rooster block. I love scionlifes filter thing. really makes for some funny posts.

woot woot. Posting this from my laptop. told mommy what happened. She called up fedex and began flipping ape poop. well long story short. i was able to pick it up today. Yey mommy. Lol

otherwise, that blows. they did the same with my ipod shuffle, took me like 3 days to get it b/c the fedex place near me is a bunch of retards.

How is it possible that you cannot get in touch with a driver while he's driving? What if he has an accident? What if the truck breaks down? I think they just couldn't be bothered with calling him is all.

We do. It's on BBC America on like Fridays at 9 or something. Don't bother trying to watch it; it's a watered down hour with commercials. The interweb will always be superior.
