Garage door does not open fully
My old garage door opener gave up so got a new one. Did the install but having an issue with opening, garage door does not open fully. Goes up just a tad over 3/4 and stops. Closes perfectly, chamberlain garage door opener manuals has nothing mentioned. Tried the adjustment buttons but can't get it to go further. I have a 8 foot garage door so installed the 8 ft extension also but is Chamberlain like comes preprogrammed for 7 ft doors and so is it stopping before opening fully like at 3/4? Any help is appreciated.

It sounds like you've already done a lot of troubleshooting with the manual and adjustment buttons, so it might indeed be a pre-programming issue for 7 ft doors. Sometimes, even with the 8 ft extension installed, the opener's default programming could still limit it. I’d suggest checking if there’s a specific override or a reprogramming step for larger doors in your model’s settings—sometimes it’s a simple setting deep in the manual that gets missed. You might also want to check the rails and see if there’s anything blocking them that could prevent the door from fully opening.
