yeah people don't like me here and i get warns on trivial grey line areas . or i'm stupid and break a rule and i get warned but others that break the same rule or do worse get NOTHING . and tyhree warns then ban? they should dissolve with time. people can change and an accidental slip up in the future should not ruin your ability to partake in teh forum.


my last warning was for saying "g o d d a m n" i did not use it in a way to put down someones religious beliefs.

honestly guys, this is just a forum, seriously.

i dont know why people take it to heart when someone says something negative about them, trust me, its not gonna be the first time.

people have a sincere hatred for me on this forum, do i care? honestly, hell no.. i have my own respect and thats all i need.

this public display of saying goodbye is nothing but drama, if you want to leave, then leave, trust me, from experience goodbye posts mean absolutley nothing.

if you dont like the forum and who is on it, NOBODY said you have to log on, just forget about this site, because the way this site has grown in the short amount of time is for a reason.. it is filled with knowledge that alot of us wouldnt have had, from the simplest of things like what bulbs we need and etc.

the only reason i believe scionlife is going downhill is because of the noobs and there damn questions, honestly you just have to search and you will find the answers to all your questions, if you dont, then make a post, but im sure someone will help you.

posts like WHICH EXHAUST SOUNDS NICER.. wth, thats all on personal opinion, and there have been 2411423426346e12523521 threads about this one topic.. and people get upset and say things that will make other people defensive and thats how everything starts.

just remember at the end of the day, half of the people on this site will never really know the real you, they may know your name and where you live, but they will never know you, so who gives a flying *** about what they think?

You know my car was the other car in the photoshoot with Gotti. All I wanted to do was post some really nice pictures of our cars. We spend alot of time, money, and creativity on our rides. Sure I knew there would be some kind of flaming to come from it, but the point that it got to was just out of hand. The moderators did nothing to fix the problem. For days that topic went on with people being hateful and flat out immature. Then to top it all off I get warrend for making a comment in a forum for MY CHAPTER OF SCIKOTICS that a member of another car club not even related said. What's up with that? This site sucks! Plain and simple. It should be a place where people can go and find out information and come together as enthusiasts and for the love of the culture. It's a dam shame that you can't even post a simple picture of your car withouth a 9 page thread of b.s.

I just wanted to say that even though I think the whole supermod thing needs to be evaluated and that some of them need to be switched out, and that some can create a less than desirable posting environment, I certainly don't feel this site sucks.

On a side note: I've had a supermod PM me and tell me my use of the word "suck" was, and I quote "the word 'Suck' raises a few flags and to tell you the truth, its vernacular reflects poorly upon you".

And attitudes like this are part of the problem, not the solution....When a noob asks a question, the way us old hands treat it determine how that person percieves this site from now on....When I first got here, I asked some really stupid questions and I was guided to the best solution. So I make it a point to treat folks with respect.

I had the opportunity to be a sectional mod for a time and due to personal miscalculations had to give it up...I wish I never had... but I think 90% of the mods do a good job and they should be policing the other 10% to get them back in line.

If you don't like it here, don't sign in and don't use the facilities... don't use the manuals, don't darken the doorstep....pack your toys and go home. Some of us like it here.

Well said. I agree completely. I've asked some pretty basic (stupid) questions myself on here. Most people have been very helpful so I try to do the same. Even when it's a topic that's been covered a thousand times.

 

I've found it's easier to type a link than to type "Use the friggingSEARCH button for your stupid question, you ignorant noob"....or at least that is how I take that reply.
