I am now a statistic! My bank called me the other day and alerted me that some other "me" is using my credit card in Nevada (I'm in SoCal)....and bought something/s. So far they've seen $429 charged to my card, I expect there'd be more so they're still investigating. For now the bank closed my cc and will send a new one. It could've been worse...

Anyone here also a victim like me?

 

The sad thing is how hard credit theft is to catch and convict someone for. Law enforcment officials have to jump through a lot of hoops to put these frauders and scammers behind bars.
