Default Help a photo student with your fav angles & pix

I'm trying to help a friend out by showing her the best angles and backgrounds for some awesome looking pix. Post your favs.
Some that have great backgrounds, rim shots, out of focus, etc....

appealing shots to me are not straight on with the sides or the front/back. Those tend to look boring.

angled shots with the front wheels turned to see the rim look decent, as well as shots taken very close to the body. Shots that incorporate only a piece of the car can have a very dramatic effect also. photoshop should also be used to bring out colors and add effects. another thing, having the car in the center oft he picture all the time is bleh.

for this one, i did a little shadow + highlighting work in PS to mute out the background and saturate the colors of the cars. My car came out a little dark though-

poor resizing (bad aspect ratio) and a little bit of blur. Overall though, the light trails add a nice effect to the picture-

i deliberately underexposed the picture to give the halo's a demonic look-

for this, i extended the exposure a little bit to give the water fountain a sense of motion. Had a little camera blur due to me clicking the shutter button. Should've used a cable release!

this shows only half of the car along with a glowing edges filter in PS. came out nicely

shows how to semi-ruin a good picture. bad resizing along with that stupid piece of grass in the bottom right area. make sure your framing your shots correctly!

Heres some fave shots/angles from my personal pics

I tend to like low-angle shots. I have a angle extension for the view finder that lets me basically lay the camera on the ground and look down to the viewfinder.
