Default Hollywood can't leave the classics alone??

Seriously, Hollywood needs to get a clue, leave the classics alone! What's next, a remake of Caddyshack?

With the millions of books/stories out there, huddreds of thousands of which might make good movies, what drives the studios to keep making the same ones over and over?

One would think that an industry based, supposedly, on innovation, imagination, and artistry would have the courage to try new things instead of constantly repackaging the same old dreck that 'scored' before.

Sad.

for those of us that are firewall protected.....is that remake of "Revenge of the Nerds"?

there are no original ideas and no testicular fortitude left in hollywood. all the best flicks are from independent studios

Yep, remake of Revenge of the Nerds.

Tomas is right, last time I checked there's just a FEW more novels out there with the potential of being made into a quality flick

I used to love watching Revenge of the Nerds. That would be awesome if they remade it. Probably won't be as good as the originals, but still.
