Default Home (Desktop) DivX players / share your thoughts

So... i opened this topic because there are many players out there, im not sure which one should i get.

(Im not talking about the programs ( vlc, classic media player, bsplayer, etc, or the portable players with the little screen!!! I want to get a desktop player)

( sorry guys but i thought the word "desktop" is clear enough... if not then i dont know how to describe the player what you put on the table...)

There are many different ones:
plays from dvd
streaming wireless from your computer
or you have to hook it up with a hdd or usb device.

im looking for one which plays dvd, because i have many burnt dvd's full with movies.
i need subtitles, so if the player knows srt, sub, ssa and txt thats a plus point.

some of them plays HD content which is also good. but i dont use them, because usually i put 3-4 movies on 1 dvd...

i have an old xbox and its my second one. the first died and this ones starts to do weird things.

For me the best would be something which plays dvd and stream wireless from pc or i can hook up an usb device, hdd.
supports divx, ogg, mkv, hd wmv ( some anime comes in mkv or ogm format only
subtitles : srt, sub ( maybe txt)
and good support ( firmware upgrades...)
i was thinking about this one which is cheap

this one plays from usb device so no dvd but it plays hd content.. and its only 120 dollars

I watch a lot of anime on my laptop and they come in different file types. i usually use media player classic and codecs from CCCP, but if it doesn't work right, i use zoomplayer. For DVDs i use JetAudio. Im not sure about streaming

VLC it's the best.

The only thing that blows is the audio, but it does go up to 200%

hahaha, we have like 2 panasonic ones, don't know the model right now, but sometimes it doesn't play the burnt movies on dvds. Like one movie would work, but then another movie would be choppy and laggy ___ hell. I mainly use my xbox 360 as I haven't had any problems with any burnt dvds/cds.
