Default Hooking up computer to tv help.

New to Hulu and Netflix. I have both on Xbox 360 and my PS3. However not all shows are available on those consoles, why? Example, I wanted to watch Ghost Hunters and it was a "web only" show. So, I assume I can buy a desk top computer with hdmi out, hook it up to my LG Lcd Led and watch these episodes, right? Or add a hdmi out video card to my existing Sams Club cheapy desk top. Thinking of telling DirectTV to go F themselves as cable is hitting near the $90 mark.

I have my desktop comp hooked up to my tv..I LOVE IT...

I believe your looking for a SVGA cable. Best buy has em..was 50 bucks when I bought it. Theres 2 different cables depending on the type of "Head" your desktop has..So take a look at the back of your comp to make sure you get the right one
