Is that in germany? Damn...I don't see any blood, which is odd...considering the immense damage of both parties.

Damn...How..? they must have been speeding like woah.

Plates look like France or Luxembourg. From the looks of the first and second picture it looks like they lost control went into the grass and hit a tree. As long as they were buckled in the occupants should be alright. European cars are designed for high speed crashes.

the occupants would be ok, as long as the tree didnt hit them as it sliced through the tree. You can see the obvious direction of the tree travel, from the passenger front light through backward to the driver side tail light.

But we also have to remember that it could have been needed to cut the car so that there was better access to the vehicle.

You can only see two emergency vehicles left, a couple of the guys are even smiling a bit and another cleaning up. I would say that probably wrapped around the tree and they cut it in half to get access as well as tow away. It would probably be too big to haul on a flat bed if it was in the shape of a circle.

According to a blog entry I just saw, the guy holding the phone in the first pic above (gray shirt) is the driver.

That'll buff right out. Good as new again.

The driver hit a tree in excess of 100mph.
