HOW MUCH IS GAS NEAR YOU???
___ over here is 3.90 for regular.
I really think, since we can't rely on our government for lower gas prices... we should do something about it!
Why not, someone create a website that keeps daily updates on cheapest gas near you, and you always buy the cheapest gas. So, that means the nearby gas stations that are 5, 10, 15 cents more, aren't getting ANY business. Then, they will be forced to lower their prices... that's when you switch to them. Eventually, we will be forcing the price down to what we want to pay.

How about not driving as much? I've honestly cut down on how much I drive these days. When I need to do a run for goods, I try and think of where I can get it all in one place instead of driving around town to get it done. Orange County is hard to get that done though since everything is so far away from each other!
I filled up today for $4.59/gal. Hasn't changed since a week ago for me.

I love how people always claim they have it worse than everyone else.

usually its the people in guam who are seeing the highest prices. But I was looking at the first page and people are posting because gas is $2.26 haha and that was 3 years ago.

Yeah, guam is usually the highest. And to Imagine Saipan is even worse!!!
Something people need to think about as well, since its usually the cali people thinking they have it the worst. You have to look at Cost of Living and AVERAGE income for a local area. California has one of the higher Average incomes, so that accounts for the higher gas prices as well for them. Look at Guam and their incomes are MUCH MUCH lowr (on the average) and they are still paying more!!!
I do get a break being in the military gas is like 20 cents cheaper for us, as long as we fill up on base.

That and cali has the farthest to have fuel transported there. Thats another reason. I saw today $3.92 in town.
Just filled up at my local Shell for $4.59/gal. Around me it hasn't broken above that thankfully. Things at my work aren't going so great anyways, but he can't exactly fire/lay me off since I run that department.
I should move to Texas.. cheaper there!

its stupid how there saying their low on gas so their raising the price... if the government didnt have oil stock then they would pass a law that prevents oil companies to raise the prices so much. stupid bush and his oil stock....
