Zomg! The most expensive place around here which is Shell's are like around $2.90 for 93 octane. I guess I won't be stopping in for gas in PA on my way up to NY next weekend lol.

 

Man, you guys are making me drool over here. We haven't seen gas (87) under $3/gal in nearly three years. Here on Oahu, it's currently $3.14 at Costco, $3.31 retail. On the outer islands (Molokai for example) it's $3.80. Wondering if I did myself right for getting a xB2 instead of a Matrix (20% better mileage). *Sigh*

 

Wowzers I was going to choose Hawaii as my next duty station but I guess I need to rethink lol. My car takes only 93 and alot of it lol. So either I buy a hybrid if I go there that I can't afford or I just walk everywhere lol.

 

uh oh... I filled up last week at 2.74 for 93 and when I drove by this morning it was 2.91. E85 at the same station was only 1.71 however.

Nice I wish I was back home in TX. And I have a question I haven't been back home in Texas for almost 3 years and I was wondering wtf is E85? Is it that ethanol gas for FlexFuel cars? If so I've never seen it sold anywhere stationed on the east coast lol.

Are that many of you really running 93 octane in a low compression engine? For what reason? There's slightly less energy in 93 octane than there is in 87 octane... so you'll have slightly less power and slightly worse fuel economy. And for all that you are paying more!
