I am here at work sitting at my desk bored out of my mind.. I have been listening to the 2 secretaries run their mouths for the last 2 hours straight. I feel like falling asleep but my desk is in the front of the office, and any/all patients that walk in will see me snoozing... <-- not to professional.. I want to go home and sleep but unfortunately I have a lil over 6 hours left til I get to go home...


Is anybody else feeling the same way I am too...

I felt the same way while I was in indoc training to be a TACP/JTAC. Much harder than sitting at a desk for 8-9 hours. We only get a couple hours of sleep each night....I always hated that. I loved that job a lot, but I'm glad that I'm out.

 

could be worse.. you could be working 12a-8a... at a call center.. and maybe if your lucky get 2 calls all night.... now thats boring... and why 99% of my posts lately are durring those hours

you could be on a 4 hour conference call listening to training on something you've been doing for the last 3 years.......and helped develop....but are required to take the training!

Yes it could be worse however in all honesty I have been here since 9am this morning.




That is usually what I do sign into Sl and get absorbed but today the 2 secretaries are extra loud and talking and whole lot more today.. They literally have been talking back and forth to each other for 2.5 hours so far, and its all in spanish. I am not being racist or prejudice because I too speak spanish.. I am just saying listening to them for thus long is giving me a headache..

 

ha i got u beat. i work at a doctors office. little kids crying and screaming all day. i dont know why they cry so much. they must get it into their head that no matter how much they cry and scream, they are still gonna end up getting the shot anyways so why make the fuss lol.

I know exactly how you feel I work in a GP dentist office.. I deal with a lot of screaming kids as well as adults ...
