What RS paid was commision bonuses. Try being on a commision only program, or one that has a base salary + commision where the commision is supposed to be more than double your salary (salary of 30k means income of 90k IOW). These types of payplans are the only way for many many people to earn >six figures.

You have to be a part of a company that sees the value in it's sales staff. RS obviously doesn't see that, but many other organizations do. It's free market, go where the money is.
