that just sounds lovely! but keep your chin up (haha, sorry for the pun)! It will be fine, but just take your time, and dont rush anything.

I went in with constant bleeding, and jaw pain from the over crowding that the teeth created. You are Italian, you will be fine!!!

yeah, don't worry about it too much. it's going to suck, but it won't be as bad as you fear. when you start feeling miserable, just think that it's only temporary, and once it's over you never have to deal with it again.

oh, and good luck. i hope everything goes smoothly for you.

dont worry C, I got all 4 of mine out. It was full blown surgery. I looked like a giant Indian chipmunk in the end, I had a little too much daal and it made me poofy.

Don't worry about it too much. You won't feel any pain - just pressure and some "wetness" when they do it. I had my lower ones out first and then my upper ones out later. The drugs pretty much put me out the whole time. I was awake and could tell what they were doing but it didn't hurt. If you can still FEEL the inside of your mouth with your tounge- ASK FOR MORE PAINKILLER.

DO NOT DRINK ANYTHING THROUGH A STRAW. OUCH. (aka try to avoid this).

I don't remember my surgery. I was sedated.

The aftermath isn't that bad, though. It just feels like someone punched you in the jaw, which isn't pleasant, but it's not excruciating like everyone seems to think it's going to be before they go in and get it done.

(BTW, mine were impacted and they had to dig them out from the sides. I got them out two years ago, and I still have weird indents in my gums.)

It's really not that big of a deal.

Good luck!

i'm debating whether to take valium beforehand....but I have respiratory issues at the moment and i doubt it's wise to do so...

anyway i'm taking my iPod with me so I at least don't have to hear noises.

My palms are sweating big time right now

and yes if I still feel any sort of pain i'll stop the doc and ask for more shots gah.

*faints*

I'm still debating whether to take all 4 now and get it down with and go through the pain once or get the 2 that were infected out now and the other two in a few weeks...?
