x2 on ZiPhone. Its pretty easy to use. Just plug in your phone, click a button, wait, then your all set.

 

well since this is an iphone thread about 1.1.4... can anyone get the customize app to work?

 

Still waiting on Customize 2.0. I haven't seen an update on their forum since mid March though.

 

I used ZiPhone 3.0 - the best out there. The Customize 2.0 is already out. It's a bit buggy but I'm sure it will improve. I'm on 1.1.4 jailbroken and unlocked.

 

if you're on FW 1.1.4 and want customize you can follow these steps.

Disclaimer: I'm not responsible if you mess up.

1. open installer
2. tap on "sources"
3. tap on "edit"
4. tap on "add"
5. you have to add a source. http://ipodtouched.net/repo.xml and tap OK.
6. once it's done "refreshing sources" tap on DONE.
7. at the the bottom of the installer tap on "install"
8. scroll down to "iPod Touched"
9. install 1.1.4 Compatibility Patch.
10. install "Modded Customize". once installed you have to reboot your iPhone for Customize to take effect.
11. open up Customize and keep tapping the chicken image while it's loading.
12. dont' forget to thank me.

 

Customize 2.0 is not showing in my sources, only 1.21. Which source did you use to find 2.0?

ok i figured out how to work customize 2.0 on my iphone.

My Steps (vers. 1.1.4)
1. install Customize 2.0 from the ipod touched link thats posted up there^^(thanks guy)
2: Go to all packages in installer andd d/l the app called SUID Lib Fix. (it might be in the tweaks 1.1.3 folder also)
3:Restart your phone
4:Look for the Customize icon and it should load without having to tap the chicken.

To get icons/sounds and other stuff go to the theme browser and look around and install.
