I will be there in the morning July 11th. Then I will always have access to SL.

Now I just have to figure out the best way to mount it. Run the cord and us it as my GPS too.

Got the 3G and it is great!

But the "ipod connecter" does allow the phone to charge which is really annoying. I hate having wires all over the place. From what I have read the old ipods and gen 1 iphone used firewire to charge but now they are switching over to a USB based charging system (not a tech geek so bare with me). So I believe that all the new ipods as well as the iphone wont charge in our scions

.

There is some talk about an adapter coming out but I have not found anything yet.

Has anyone come up with a solution for the charging issue with the iphone 3G and the new iPod priducts?

actually i old iPod Touch charged and it used USB to charge

Ditto. My g/f has a Voyager and it's crap. It "works" fine and all but the interface is awful. The excuse for a web browser is ridiculous. And it is painfully slow.

My Ocean blows that out of the water and I don't even like my Ocean anymore.

I don't know why I bought it, but I'm glad I didn't get the iPhone back in January, because then I'd be buying the new 3G iPhone right now. Oh well, I get 20% off my Verizon bill, so it's not a total loss.

And the battery life on this phone is a disgrace.

I should have been more specific:

All of the new apple product STARTING with the iPhone 3G are not going to use the Firewire. This means that all of the new products going foreward are not going to work (charge) with the old accessories.

The internet is KILLER on the iphone 3G it is very very fast and breeze to navigate.

1st gen iPhone + 2.0 software = a happy camper!

seriously, i cant believe i waited untill my Sprint contract ending in march to get this. i should of gotten it sooner. Its an amazing phone and now i do alot more with the 2.0 software. i love the new apps, my fav is the flashlight!

seriously its a no brainer.....
