Italian Thread!
barely family owned "italian" restaurants are good
imagine chains
nah well being incredibly picky over this i'd recommend two and ONLY two places in DC and proximity for real italian food.....
1. 2 AMY's - Tenley town AMAZING pizza, kinda expensive but hey...and delicious suppli'! (***** of rice, with melted mozarella, and then fried)
2. PASTA MIA - Adams Morgan, go for the gnocchi! they don't take reservations cos they don't have to....there's always a line going outside the restaurant and around the corner (small place) but for 11$ u get a huge portion of home made gnocchi di patate
hmmm hmmm

I personally like to cook and create dishes, but am far from fat. I do like to eat, but eat my appropriate poportions.

I miss Italy so much. I am trying to move back to Europe, b ut this time probably to Germany. I live there for 2 years. I got kinda annoyed with the Italian siestas.
