It's official... I bought an engagement ring!!
That one about the police pulling me over would be funny, but knowing her she would be ____ed off and start yelling at me... Probably wouldn't work for me!!
I am excited, We have been dating serious for about 4 years and I love her alot... I will try to get pics of the ring up and as far as the lady... I wouldn't want to post pics because I don't want any of you to stalk her!! HAHAHAHA LOL!! Just kidding...

Hmmmm....put the ring in a box with a red ribbon in the center hatch compartment. Tell her you just got the sickest mod for your box ever, and that everyone else will be jealous. Really hype it up, and when she finally breaks down and asks to see it, tell her it's supposed to be top secret, but she can get an idea of how sick it really is if she looks in the compartment (I dunno, tell her there are important switches there). Prior to her even getting to reach for the cubby, you should have already been out of the car and at the passenger side. As she pulls the box out, you have the door open, and are down on one knee....
Ok... IMO... you should not ask her to marry you somewhere you are going to spend a lot of time or somewhere (like the box) that you will sell and never be able to go to again. Think ahead like anniversaries... you want to be able to take her to the spot you asked her to marry you and it be special and somewhere out of town is better than your sofa etc... also if she ever gets mad at you or you want to go golfing you need to be able to pull this card. so the box may not be the best. So go for a nice restaraunt a little out of the way from where you live, then get a NICE hotel and your set for life... Ever want to score points you relive that night.
First of all . . . kudos on getting the ring and trying to find a special way to propose. Some guys just don't get that this day is one of the most memorable in a woman's life!
I totally agree with the statement about proposing in a place that you can return to, year after year. On Nov. 16th last year, my fiance proposed. He called me at work and told me to stay there. After work I found his mom and best friend waiting outside for me. His mother was there to drive my car home while his friend directed me to the back of our truck to which my fiance had a few things for me. There sat a dress, shoes, everything needed to get ready for the evening. He even had nail polish so that I could touch up my toes! His friend waited patiently as I changed then handed me white roses with a little note. His friend dropped me off at our favorite restaurant, Stanley and Seaforts here in Tacoma. At the table there were more roses and it was pretty much at this point that I knew what was going on. He got down on one knee and proposed in the restaurant. The whole thing may not have been the most romantic and out there idea, but he put a lot of thought into the night. Our first date was on the 16th, white roses are my absolute favorite, the choice of restaurant, he even had his friend play our favorite songs on the car ride over.
Basically just think about what means the most to you and your girl and go from there.
