Default iTunes - Automatically Filling In Album Title?

is there a program that will automatically fill in the album name in itunes if the artist and track title is already there?

I have all the artist's name and track title filled in, but the album title is missing cuz i never got around to it. now i have over 500 songs and i'm not about to go through each song individually and research the album name to type it in.

is there a program that will do that?

thanks.

i thought so.... hahahah.

i did find a program called "fixtunes" which i recommend to NOT download cuz it will stutter and freeze your computer so i had to delete it and now my computer is fine. but it was suppose to fill in the album title and everything for you. it's a trial version which means they'll fix 50 songs for you but after that, you have to pay $25!

but regardless, don't download it. some spyware/trojan/virus in that program.

If you have to change multiple items, just select all of the ones with the same name and do a 'Get Info' It will let you make a batch change. Should save you some time.

download.com and get "media tagger" works for me, lets you do batch editing such as album titles if you have multiple songs from one artist etc.
