ok, well i had to do a full reset thing and get new everything. so now i have new itunes and i cant get back my old music. is there a way to do this? why cant i just upload it from the ipod? or am i just stupid? i did however b4 the restart, transfer the itunes library to my other computer, so i thought when i got the new itunes, i could just copy and paste the folders into the new itunes folder, well that didnt work. and i tried to consolidate the music and no dice.. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG! i drive alot and i need my ipod! LOL

I have the same prob. I reformatted my computer when school started. On apple's website, theres a way to do it, but i cant because it invovles moving the "itunes" folder thats on the ipod, and i cant find mine, or it doesnt have one on the ipod..

 

The music is hidden on the IPOD, so you will have turn on hidden folders and click around.

If you have the music in another folder just go to file, add folder, and select the music folder to add. Then it will add it.
