I think those ribbons should be banned, they ____ me off and the pople that sport them on their car should be executed.

 

Ooooh, I saw a set of ***** on a GMC Jimmy a few days ago. How gross! Maybe I ought to put some saggy ***** on the front of my xB to combat that saggy *****?

And I hate magnetic ribbons. I agree with TheRealBen... lets start banning them and then execute those who break the rule. Blech.

I also hate dealership license plates or even worse, in non-Washington states, they often put dealership emblems. They should be banned and the people who keep them on their cars should be tortured before their execution.

Ooooh, and hibiscus flowers and Roxy stickers. OMG, it's like the must-have stickers for snotty-think-I'm-the-____t teenage girls.

wa state doesn't do dealer stickers either? i though cali was the only non dealer sticker having state.

 

The ***** are just plain stupid. I believe in supporting our troops 100% (even if you don't believe in the war), but I don't really care for the ribbon magnets on cars either. I just don't like to see anything stuck to a car. Not bumper stickers, support magnets, or performance decals. It's a car....not a rolling billboard.
Oh, and I am SO SICK of those stupid decals of Calvin ____ing on everything!!!

 

I guess I better take off my Calvin with big ***** ____ing on a faded ribbon......

The ribbons don't bother me so much, it's when they are so faded and you don't know if it's for the troops, cancer, spaying your pet....


You can't put it on and never check on it again.

 

The ribbons aren't just about the war, they have ribbons for everything now (including local PTAs!), and the only people getting a nickle of it are the ribbon manufacturers, and their suppliers.

 

One CAN support something and not have an ugly and tacky looking magnetic ribbon on their car. C'mon now.

And I dislike all the ribbons. I dislike the pink ones but I don't wish breast cancer on anyone. I dislike the puzzle piece one but I certainly hope something can be done for Autism.

If they all, like scionofPCFL touched on, had proceeds going to each particular causes, then I wouldn't mind them as much. Regardless though, I find them very unattractive.

hotbox05, yeah, we sooo don't do those out here either. I'm glad to hear Cali is anti-dealer emblem/sticker too. I would literally not buy a car if that was on it or make them take it off for me.

 

I really dont care if people have the ribbons on their cars. its just when they have them on sideways. I can't stand that. People are dumb and cant even put them on right. I just want to straighten them.

They are also trendy. I fully support our troops. But I dont have to put a ribbon on my car. I fully support autism awareness, breast cancer research... But don't have ribbons, furthermore, if I did it wouldnt be on sideways!!!!

The gf is making me. Right now it is in the living room. She says when we have a dedicated theatre room then we can get another one. I liked playing 1st person shooters and having the people be life sized .

This woman I work with has a yellow ribbon on her car that says "Toothpaste For Breakfast" - That's funny

I've seen one that's white and red and says "Drenched in the blood of christ" - That's effed up.

Also the people with the magnetic flags that say "These colors don't run" but the ink is all faded... oh the irony.

But yeah, they get kinda old.

 

I think that'd be cause for alarm.
