You posted in a car forum about how car owners should stop spending money on their cars and donate it to charity. I understand you're trying to spread the word about the disease and your cousin, but take a look at the big picture. If people wanted to donate to charity they're probably not going to log onto their car forums to do so.

umm i didn't ask everyone to stop modding, if your spending like 2000 in parts.. donating 20 bucks isn't anything to you..

 

I used to post there when I had a lancer ralliart, the evo guys would give a crap all of the time claiming we wanted to be like them. Sorry I don't have 40 plus grand to spend on a car on mods. Plus mitsu quality is poop anyway. Also mitsu dealers treat most of thier customers like crap.

Damn that is messed up what they said. But on the same page, you have to know where you are posting. Telling people that have worked hard for what they got, that they should give it to someone else. Some time that doesn't work. I feel bad for your family for going through what they are right now. But at the same time the people that are posting on car site,, are posting to talk about cars.

I have to agree with Cyrus_tC here. Understandable, you're trying to get donations. However, there are appropriate places to do so and most of the time that does not include car forums. A Cancer forum or another disease forum or a family forum, yes, but I would say exclude all car forums for this one. We are all very sorry to hear about your cousin and wish the best for her.

Also, as you have seen, if people start posting and you say things like stay the eff out, they are WAY more likely not to give then before that post. You attract more bee's with honey.

 

but the thing is i'm not asking them to give up anything. even 5 dollars will help. even 1 dollar would help, if it was successful like i thought it was going to be. 100 people each giving 1 dollar would've been good still, but since no one seems to care. it's all in god's hands and knowing how all those immature kids are, those are the kids that make fun of the people with disorders.. shame on them..
