Default MAC Computers!!!

Ok so I use the Newest G5 MAC for work...it has the Adobe Creative Suite CS

and my Illustrator program quits out all the time when selecting a tool from the tool palete. EPS files sometimes dont work correctly!...
Just today...I couldnt open any AI or EPS files....
The Tech dude at work told me its a Font issue and that theres a "conflict" when fonts are used thats why Illustrator crashes...

That BS???....or that true?......

I mean Its a computer it should be able to handle that kinda stuff right??????
I think cuz its CS and Not CS2....lol

1.) They're Apple computers, not Macintosh.

2.) Conflicts died out with OS9.

3.) Uninstall the application, do a search for Adobe on your HD and delete all settings, preferences, etc. Then, re-install the app. 99% chance your "conflict" will go away.

Before reinstalling, make sure you run a permissions repair.

1: Find out what Mac you have. PowerPC G5's = OLD / Intel MacPro's = new.

2. Do you have the latest Version of OS X? Click the Apple logo on the top left and go to "About This Mac". If you have 10.4.7 you should be fine. If you have anything lower; update immediately!

I have a Single 1.8 G5. Got it when it first came out. I was ____ed. Two weeks after I got it the Dual 1.8 came out for the same price!

Im not sure if I want to get a cheap MacPro or a MacBook.
