Anyone have one? I'm having some problems with the battery about a year after the purchase.. and the problem is that when it isn't connected to the charger, the notebook shuts off out of nowhere after a few minutes regardless of how much time it says i have left for the battery.. Is it time for a new battery or is this common? And how much is it to get a new one?

 

Well, batteries tend to wear down after a year... but this seems exceptionally bad. I had Apple replace one for me for free.

 

it is time to reflect on how all those stupid mac vs pc commercials sucked you in to buying one of those pieces of crap! LOL, JK!

sounds like the battery, or a bad connection to the battery.
