Default MTV's new show "Trick it Out"

Did anyone catch this last night. MTV has a new show called "Trick it Out", and it was hosted by RJ De Vera. It's basically a tuner challenge build-off, where they have a theme that they must stick to, and create some of the most craziest concepts according to the theme. I thought it was pretty cool, although I wouldn't buy or drive any of the cars they built. It was an all "SHOW" car thing. For the all "GO" people, this show probably isn't your cup of tea (I like Show and Go). It took 8 shops in Cali, and had a contest (tournament style) on who could build the sickest theme car. Don't know how long this show will last, but it's a cool show.

I caught the final one with the futuristic theme. I liked the car that one how the doors opended and the seats came out with it. That was pretty sick.

I thought that the Chrome/Titanium car should have won. Especially with the center drive.

This sounds good, what time does it come on? I've been staying away from MTV for some time now but I'd like to watch this.

I talked to a couple of the Pimp My Ride guys at SEMA and they are the ones behind this show. They didn't want to keep doing Pimp My Ride and they said they were coming out with a contest show that showed people how some of the work was actually done. At least I am assuming this is the show since it didn't have a name yet.

The show seems to be heavily endorsed/sponsored by Honda, and somewhat sponsored by Nitto. As RJ De Vera pointed out on more than one occassion that some of the cars were running Nitto Neo-Gens.

And the show cars came in this order:

90's Honda Civic Hatchback
240SX
Acura Integra

And the final vehicle: 06 Civic EX coupe.

But the yellow turd crap didn't have a swap. This was on the 06 Civic EX remember. The swap was on the first round, when they done the hatchbacks.

it was like a mix of Unique Autoworks and Pimp My Ride. I like the fact they show the screw ups and stuff that's not done right. they could of edited that right out but they didn't.

they should have a show with just average installers and have them atempt the same kind of installs. I think that would be better viewing. at least you would get a laugh out of it.
