this truck put a bigger smile on my face than when i first got my tc

its awesome 40 plus mph , 4 wheel drive, full adjust shocks, dual steering servos

cost $ 399.99 plus tax for the truck and radio remote

$29.99 for the tool kit + glow igniter and charger

$20.00 for the recharge able battery pack for truck servos

$15.00 for the first run fuel

i already found a roll cage for $69.99

a full suspension upgrade kit for $139.99

and oh yea believe it or not there are actual carbon fiber accessories

ran it for like four hours today to break it in ,broke it twice on a pillar at a underground parking structure(heated) haha luckily i bought a extra set of knuckels and spindles ! $ 7.00
its really hard to dial it in though i advanced the second gear shift about 10 mph and tighten the slipper clutch to engage faster

its a blast , still tinkering with the high and low speed dials to dial it in ! it can go alot faster than what i am getting out of it but its still instant smiley face

when you hit the throttle and it flies away squatting the rear end , i was racing (bashing) around with my buddy he has a traxxas revo and all i can say is if you are mad or ____ed and you turn this truck on all that drama is gone in the second it takes to pull the throttle back and let her rip!

revo killer i think not ! but its still a great rig - i had a t-maxx with a pico small block 21 and it was nuts (way to many upgrades to list)- im thinking about getting back into r/cing - throw a spool in the rear of that thing and remove all the fwd parts find a nice dirt/gravel/muddy area and have some real fun LOL

i know its not a revo killer (YET)

and my kitty is in the pets thread. haha j/k

my buddy has the revo 3.3 / .18 motor and he wants mine now so that tells you something right there! mine has the big block m26ss it is a beast let me tell you

better shocks motor chassis than the revo but the revo has all the creature comforts like ez start 2 and only one fuel adjust needle! and better electronics !

i can tell i will be trying to dial it in for awhile, gimme a hand full of glow plugs and a gallon of fuel and it will run like a top forsure!

any way i love it and if i had more money i would have gotten a revo or a tmax but i only had so much ching ya no!

oh yea are you more into offroad or street/

that traxxas nitro 4 tec looks like a beast on the street! i would have gotten that but i wanted something offroad since my buddy has the revo!

or if you get back into rc theres always the cheap rustler for less than $200 to get you by for awhile!

yes i can see the pit beneath me!

so far on the lstforums ive found that a new lst2 throttle, brake linkage is needed for better response a new set of savage 25 clutch shoes and springs for better take of i get some serious lage when its cold! lst2 hi low spure gear setup is recomended!

and after that a lst2 ht tune pipe and some new wheels and tires for the pavement!

and after all that if im doing wheelies maybe a wing and wheelie bar!

so the pit you talk of is getting bigger and deeper by the minute for me!

nice !!! ok now that you have the rubber for the street you might wana try setting up your shocks for the street this would be the cheapest way of doing it

1. get some stiffer springs

2. get some heavy weight oil

3. space out the shock shafts this will make you shock shorter which will lower your truck and compress your springs making them stiffer

i use to have 2 shock sets for my maxx 1 set for street use and 1 for bashing now keep in mind its a off road truck and not a on road car so i wouldnt go spending cash on parts to try to make it a on road rig instead save your cash and get a stadium truck or buggie well enjoy

nice...congrats! There a ton of fun. My dad picked one up a couple years ago. Its a traxxis Tmaxx but not one part was left stock on it. Everything that was plastic was converted to aluminum, upgraded motor/heatsink, syncrhos, custom dual exhaust, 2 speed tranny etc. The thing is capable of clocking near 60mph and will take most cars down from a dig

yea i no its not a street truck its just for winter its being used more indoors ya no!

but yea im bidding on springs right now! . so far i won spindles with bearings and wheel hexes ( i broke one) hand held roto starter ! also bidding on ht tune pipe a-arms with carriers tierods with ends a few parts lots with alot of stuff like servos, spindles ,carriers aarms side rails sway bars stuff like that!

i think the parts lots are the best deal cuz there is a bunch of parts instead of individuall parts so im bidding on two differant lots with differant parts.

any way the money pit is growing!

so far while driving with my buddy i have replaced 2 tierods a carrier and 2 spindles

my buddy with a revo has replaced all of front driver side componets a throttle servo a speed control sensor 2 tie rods 3 a arms and a few other parts!

i would say i bash just as hard as he does ..

dont know why his revo acts up so much he now wants to get that little schumacker truck with the .21 motor that goes 75mph and i think he'll regret it cuz its kinda small and ill run that thing over easy if i can catch him!

but neway when it gets more warm im gonna set it back up for what it was meant for jumps and bashing for sure!
