just a vent. i like how i go to the my350z forum to post up my strup certificate i'm selling and i put up "throw me an offer" and they delete my post because i didn't specify a price.

the one mod is like "this isn't eBay. post a price"

so i said how i didn't know how much it was worth, etc. and i said if anyone gives me a reasonable offer it's all good.

then he PMs me and tells me he was ordering me to post a price and because i didn't, he deleted my thread.



on here, i posted it up for best offer. the thread's still alive.

it makes me wonder if i want to get a Z for my next car or what. i can't stand stupid drama and douche bags.

i guess the point of my story is horrah to SL for being such an awesome, non-rude car community.

 

Got a friend on there that come on here a once in a while says there is was less drama here then there...go figure.

If I were you, I'd go to another 350Z forum and forget the current one you are on. When you do, PM the mod that was being a jerk and tell them that you no longer need their forum.

You think thats bad, go to pbnation.com. They're like thread ****'s over there. If you do one minor thing wrong - BOOM - banned. Something else - permanent ban. And if you make a new account and they find out, they ban ur IP address. Yea I think that sites getting outta hand. SL is waaaaaaay better. Thanks guys.

 

Well, they do say the 350z is the new Camaro for Italians. Around me I see guidos driving them all the time. So, you got the WORST attitudes in these a-holes posting on those forums so I would stay away.

 

Did they have any sort of rules saying that sale threads need to have a price associated them? If not I'd say tell that mod to shove his Z up his ___. Or PM another mod there about it and see what his opinion is on the situation.

 

my350z.com isn't bad, it's just that SL is too soft. Go post it up on IWSTI.com and watch hell break loose.

 

yeah it seems like SL is a much more community and family friendly place to be since it's got such a huge range of people.

i'm sure that the other car/brand forums have a ton of nice people around ... just some are more egotistical and power-hungry than others ...

I have to agree with their moderators. I'm on a sportbike forum, and they make you post a price and DO NOT allow anyone else to reply in to the sale thread. It keeps the threads clean and not full of stupid posts. All the conversing is then taken to PMs or through email.

You can still put OBO or no reasonable offer will be refused, but you must put a price in front of it.
