Just like anything, there appears to be hacks... I think if you force every next level, you'll get a decent bonus too...

 

Yeah, I think scoring is based on how fast you kill those things and how fast you want the next level.

I keep trying the hard side.... can't figure out the strategy for that high of a score yet..... grrr......

took me a few minutes to figure out how to play but once i got the hang of it - it is kinda addicting.

 

Bring it on matt.... I'm really addicted to this game in downtime and just recently topped my high score again...

It's tough, and even the same strategy can succeed or fail with some of the levels.... there is some GREAT randomness built into the game that really makes in hard to consistently use the same stragedy...

I think you can play the game the EXACT same way, and it turn out with two totally different results...

But, man, it is a challenge... 6500+ is where it get's tough... I can kill EVERYTHING, even the two last airplane thingies and still not beat 6500.... I have to skip levels like crazy, and push my maze right to the limit to get those 6700-6900 scores....

I've tried the up and down stragedy you're using, but find that the wraparound and circular stragedy a bit more effective.... you can see my maps to see what I try...

Anyways.... it's all good fun...

Quick tip for newbies.... look at the maps of the highscores in the scion group, and then you can pick up a bit of the maze stragedy and technique.... advance to the next level as much as, and as fast as you can, without pushing your maze too far.... and balance your stragedy between the flyers and the movers..... FREEZES are your friends with the speedies and the planes....

I enjoy the competition... someone beat me so I can try your stragedy and tweak mine a bit more.
