I would assume it would raise the risks of cancer seeing as how the cells allthough slowed considerably are meant to build up and then slough off.

an ex gf of mine was on something that procured the same results but after a year of not having a period her doctor told her she should really take a break or else her chances of having children later on in life will be dramatically decreased.
