Point for me is Romo is NOT great, period. He's good, but great--negative. and i never said a great receiver made a great qb, but a great receiver WILL make a good qb look great. you pair up a good gb with romo's receiving core and the running game that they have and they'd thrive.

And favre is definetly doing his thing this season w/o an all-star cast.

i won't even touch down on marino, another great qb, though w/o a ring.

An even better example would be the 1998 Vikings. Cunningham was far from being a great QB, Moss, Carter and Reed made him look 250% better than he really was.

To anyone who was bashing on Favre, I think you should be back and watch some highlights from yesterdays game. I hope the Giants win this game, so the Packers can go to the Super Bowl.

Lol, he's not even old, I hate how everyone says he's too old to play. He acts like he's the youngest player in the NFL. I can't believe someone would be dumb enough to compare Romo to Favre, .

It's just a joke.
I get called old here all the time.
Favre is fantastic.
Romo is a decent, but nowhere near great QB.

Bwahaha, looks like the amazing Romo can't play under pressure or in the playoffs!

i was thinking the sae thing. i told my homie that i hope the giants could pull it off b/c the Pack would beat them in the playoffs. the only team that could play up with GB in conditions like yesterday would be the Bears, i think.

THANK YOU!!!! or to compare Rodgers to Romo, saying Rodgers reminds them of Romo. Rodgers hasn't play enough to remind anyone of anybody. and when he did play he looked really, really good.

SciontCya, your not old, just experienced.

Enough said again! Romeo can't handle the pressure! He lost the game and now he will probably lose Jessica.

that's probably a good thing. well at least if she tries to come to a game. maybe she showed up "fashionably late"

True! its too bad he threw a few fits toward the end. Thats what happens when the pressure is too much. But lets be fair, Romo is a good QB and some day he could be compared to Brett Favre but he is far from that day.

Exactly.
I actually like Romo's attitude - he's funny and doesn't take himself too seriously.
He was ____ed at the end because the front line sucked.
I'd be ____ed too.

he's good, i'll give him that. but would i put him on my team, no. he really hasn't proved anything. he's had this one fantastic season (pre this game), last season was pretty good.

He can't blame anything on the front line. Especially when he doesn't know how to throw the ball away. Everytime he got sacked, he had atleast 2 seconds to just chuck the ball, and the time he does throw it, he gets a grounding call. He's far from being a great QB..hell, Eli Manning is looking better than Romo, and Eli is the biggest crybaby in the league. I can't wait to see Eli shivering on the sidelines when it's 0º outside in Green Bay .

word to that, he did the Chargers dirty in that draft. I'd love to see the Chargers play the Giants in the SB--if the Pack weren't in the playoffs that is. too bad the Chargers are probably going to get shutdown v.s. the Pats though.

Green Bay vs Pats, Giants have no chance, and the Chargers looked HORRIBLE on defense.
